Rae Hillman
Singer. Actor. Dancer. Muppet Enthusiast.

well hey hey bestie!!
Welcome to my website! My name's Rae Hillman and I'm a California-born, Denton, Texas-raised and now NYC-based AEA actor!!
Ever since sitting in the orchestra pit with my dad (a percussionist) at "Kiss Me, Kate" when I was eight years old, I knew that the only thing I EVER wanted to do was perform. I grew up watching movie musicals (make 'em laugh, bby), scouring the deepest, darkest corners of broadway.com, and, of course, planning my all-female production of '"Forever Plaid."" (it never found it's footing, but I still think it could have it's moment).
I'm a proud alum of Oklahoma City University where I graduated with Bachelors of Music in both Music Theatre and Vocal Performance (go stars!!) ! Since then, I've been living it up in NYC, performing regionally and in the city, singing wherever they'll have me!
In an increasingly dark world, I feel most drawn to art that makes people laugh above all else. I've always felt that I was put on earth to spread joy, love, light and laughter, and that's the art I'm most passionate about creating.
I strive to bring a sense of professionalism, preparedness, and spontaneity to every room I'm in.
When I'm not onstage, I love juggling, crafting, going on a hot girl walk, and nannying my two Tribeca kid-lets!!
thank you for visiting!! :)

"...but it is Rae Hillman who is the secret weapon of the production. She couples a beautiful face to a gorgeous soprano; beyond that she brought an impressive comic timing worthy of a Goldie Hawn or a Judy Holiday to her "dumb blond-- though not blond" persona."
-NiteLife Exchange
"...and the cherubic Rae Hillman as the delightful ditz Philia, are both sympathetic and surprisingly fertile sources of humor."
-New York Sun

"...Rae Hillman as Portia was outstanding and belted out some heavy duty vocal runs and brought a lovely levity and romance..."
-The Dallas Voice
"...scenes with his Puritan girlfriend, Portia, played to the comic hilt by Rae Hillman, who also has a lovely voice, are playful, sexy and charming."
-Doug Sturdivant, DFW Center Stage
